Al regresar a su pueblo la gente recibió con gran alegría a su princesa y sobretodo a aquel que se las había devuelto. Aun con sus graves heridas el joven caballero conservaba ánimos para disfrutar de la fiesta.

Al terminar el festejo, nuestro joven caballero pregunto a la princesa si ella aceptaría quedarse a su lado…

…ero la joven lo rechazo rotundamente.

Aunque la joven princesa trataba de evitarlo, nuestro héroe pudo darse cuenta que era su aspecto la razón de su rechazo. Muchas de las heridas que había recibido eran muy notorias y auque lo desease jamás podría volver a lucir como antes.
